Gabriella Cattaneo is Associate Vice President of IDC's European Government Consulting unit. Cattaneo has more than 25 years of experience in ICT market research, socio-economic impact assessment and benchmarking of ICT policies. She joined IDC, global ICT market research and consulting company, in 2005 to develop research and consulting services for governments and policy makers, leveraging IDC’s global knowledge and research. Cattaneo has contributed to the design and implementation of European benchmarking indicators on e-government, e-procurement, cloud computing, and currently on measuring the European Data market. Cattaneo is a graduate in Political Sciences Magna cum Laude from Milan State University with a prize-winner research Thesis and worked ten years as a business journalist before becoming an ICT industry analyst.
